Samsung is Going Pro Banner

The company’s announcement at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was the debut of their new addition to the Frame TV collection - the Frame Pro. This model ushers in new and updated technology that enhances the features and benefits of Samsung’s Frame TV while introducing exciting advantages exclusive to this newer (and bigger) version.

These are some of the highlights from the company’s CES reveal of the Frame Pro, and whether you already own a Samsung The Frame TV or have been considering the purchase of one, their latest product is sure to entice consumers eager to enter the art television market. Samsung has made some adjustments in the design and production of their new television, and some of the original Frame television’s most ardent critics are enthusiastic about the upgrades coming on the Frame Pro.

The Wireless One Connect Box

Yes, you read that right. The Samsung One Connect Box is now wireless on the Frame Pro TV. One of the best exclusive features of the Frame TV has been improved in more ways than one. First, the One Connect Box is now one-third smaller on the Frame Pro TV than the previous version for the Frame TV. Second, it’s now wireless. Both of these improvements make it much easier to conceal and preserve the aesthetics of the Frame Pro television as an art piece.

Samsung advises consumers to leave no more than 30 feet (10 meters) between the Box and the Television to ensure seamless functionality, and the signal will get interrupted by metal walls in between the two devices. So keep that in mind when you are planning to mount your television on a wall.

The updated version of the One Connect Box features seven HDMI inputs as well as all of the other common input and output ports that were available on the previous, wired version of the Box. Check out these key differences:

The Wireless One Connect Box

Increased Processing Capability

The One Connect Box is all about enhancing the performance capacity of the Frame Pro and it starts with the integrated processing components that work towards improved efficiency and smoother functionality. This improvement reduces lag-time when switching between the various devices that have been connected to the television, preserving performance for all high-performance applications from gaming to streaming.

Faster refresh rates, AI-powered upscaling, and expanded smart device integration throughout the home are also key features of this new and improved version of the One Connect Box. Low-resolution content is automatically upscaled and refresh rates optimized for a smoother gaming experience.

More Ports, More Fun

No more compromising when consumers want to enjoy the unmatched picture and sound quality of the Frame Pro for accessing all of their favorite content. This updated version of Samsung’s One Connect Box offers additional HDMI and USB inputs to allow for a wider variety of external devices for easy access any time.

The Neo QLED Panel

The Neo QLED Panel

Samsung’s Frame TV continues to feature its QLED 4K panel, while the Frame Pro television is equipped with the Neo QLED 4K panel, which is another way of describing what is actually a mini-LED backlit display.

Yet, there is a distinct departure from the norm when it comes to the definition of mini-LED backlit panels as we know them and the panel that Samsung has built into the Frame Pro television. Simply put, don’t expect rows upon rows of mini-LEDs installed behind their panel.

The Frame Pro is, in essence, an edge-lit television with its mini-LEDs located along the bottom of the panel. The company insists this configuration provides excellent picture quality with improved contrast, backlight control, brightness levels, and local dimming capabilities that surpass other brands and models in this space.

In addition, the refresh rate on the Frame Pro has been boosted from 120Hz to a faster, smoother 144Hz, so if you are a gamer, the Frame Pro is ready to take your gaming graphics to the next level.

The NQ4 Gen3 AI Processor

2025 looks to be the year that AI really dominates the consumer electronics realm and with all of the features and benefits of the technology at its current proficiency, Samsung’s new television is positioning itself as a bellwether among the art TV set. How the industry responds is anyone’s guess, but consumers are in for a treat.

In fact, the Frame Pro TV has applied AI capabilities to perform a number of functions for improving picture and sound quality through upscaling methods that can optimize low-resolution video to 4K clarity and detail. That’s cool, but it’s to be expected.

What really makes the AI technology on the Frame Pro TV so interesting is that it can provide an encyclopedic knowledge of, well, just about anything and everything while you watch your favorite shows and movies. Let’s say you’re watching a movie for the first time, and you can swear you’ve seen one of the supporting actors before, but you can’t remember where or even their name. Hit the Click to Search button on your remote, and the screen will display an amazing range of information about the actors you’re watching in the scene at that very moment in the film, the location of the scene in the film, the name brands of the wardrobe the actors are dressed in during the scene, and so on.

That’s not all. Maybe the movie you’re watching has a dinner scene with two characters sitting across from one another at a kitchen table over two meals that look simply scrumptious. The Frame Pro can even tell you about those dishes with instructions on how to prepare those very same meals to enjoy at your own kitchen table after you’ve finished watching the movie.

Those are just some of the AI-powered features as part of Samsung’s NQ4 Gen3 processor. But wait, there’s more. Samsung has built in a Live Translate feature that can translate closed captions in real time in seven languages during live broadcasts.

The NQ4 Gen3 AI Processor The Power of Artificial Intelligence for Greater Picture Quality and Detail

The Power of Artificial Intelligence for Greater Picture Quality and Detail

Samsung has made the Frame Pro smarter with a range of AI–powered upgrades designed for greater picture quality and enhanced detail that delivers more accurate and precise images. This newest addition to the Frame line of televisions offers the following:

Better Upscaling Capability

Sharper detail and clearer picture quality when watching and displaying low-resolution content and images for a better viewing experience.

Smarter Image Quality Adaptability

Through AI-powered tools, the Frame Pro automatically adjusts brightness and color by sensing the ambient light in the room where the TV is located to preserve image quality for the robust and more vivid display at all times. This feature also ensures that your digital artwork is always displayed with the top-quality contrast, saturation, and detail in Art Mode, so your images appear just as rich and meticulous in color and texture as they would if you were viewing them in the halls of your favorite art gallery.

Precise Motion Detection

The Frame Pro utilizes AI tools to dim or power down the screen when it detects a lack of movement in the room. This enhancement works to reduce energy consumption and preserve the life of the display.

Software Upgrades for Increased Customer Satisfaction

The Samsung Frame Pro TV has been empowered with a number of software upgrades designed to give consumers a richer and more rewarding experience through a more intuitive interface and a variety of enhanced proficiencies that set new standards for performance:

Art Mode Conversion

The Frame Pro switches between the television and art modes faster and with more precision so your device is always conserving energy and screen life at the best possible opportunities.

Personalized User Profiles

Each member of the family can have his or her own customizable user profile reflecting their ideal preferences for settings, app layouts, and artwork choices. This software upgrade improves the user experience so everyone can enjoy the Frame Pro as they see fit.

Improved Smart Device Compatibility

Consumers are relying on their smart devices more than ever and the Frame Pro supports all of these devices for greater access and compatibility, including the Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and of course, the SmartThings App from Samsung. This improved compatibility is geared towards greater convenience and integration in the home.

Updated Screensaver Choices

There are more options for the Frame Pro when it comes to screensavers with animated and interactive selections available.

The Deco Frame TV Partnership

Television Size Options

Samsung now offers two separate models of Frame televisions. The Frame TV ranges in screen size from 32” to 65”, and the Frame Pro TV is available in 65”, 75”, and 85” sizes. Whichever you choose, you know you’re getting the level of picture quality that you’ve come to expect from Samsung.

Both the Frame and the Frame Pro are equipped with 4K panels. However, the company will continue to include the traditional wired One Connect Box on their 32”-65” Frame TV models while the new wireless One Connect Box will only be available on the Frame Pro televisions.

The Deco Frame TV Partnership

In keeping with our ongoing partnership with the brand, Samsung has equipped their new wireless One Connect Box with an X-Link Port to support the Smart Room Sensor that enables you to use your Samsung remote with our Deco TV Frames for effortless signal clarity.

We are proud to be an official partner of Samsung as the premiere retailer with the widest selection of high-quality frames built exclusively for Samsung the Frame televisions.

Deco TV Frames offers a variety of bezels and frames that can accommodate both the Frame TV and now, the Frame Pro TV at sizes that are compatible with 65”, 75”, and 85” models. Choose from any of the current frame options from our many eclectic collections. They will fit your new Frame Pro television with the same easy installation, versatility, and aesthetics you have come to expect from our line of products.

Art Store Expansion

Until now, you could only access and enjoy all that Samsung’s Art Store had to offer on The Frame TV. That was it. All other Samsung televisions did not have that access nor the features to use that artwork. Until now. Samsung’s CES presentation revealed that you can now access the Art Store on any of the company’s QLED, NeoQLED, Frame TV, and new Frame Pro TV.

Available via subscription (with some free collections as well), the Art Store gives consumers an overwhelming selection of artworks and images from a multitude of artists, genres, and subjects that are easily displayed on your television screen as an alternative to a big black void on the wall when the TV is not in use.

Art Store Expansion

Exclusive Art Collections and New Partnerships for Art Mode Support

Samsung’s partnerships with the world’s most-renowned museums and galleries continues to expand as the company has forged alliances with top cultural institutions and artists to bring more inspirational work to the Frame Pro.

That means giving consumers more choices of digital art featuring more masterworks and styles of art, as well as themed collections to give users a greater array of possibilities for curating their selections based on holidays and special occasions.

The Frame TV continues to give users a more rewarding and enjoyable experience to enhance their home and their personalized cultural lexicon with a wider array of the world’s most compelling artwork available at their fingertips.

The Samsung Frame Pro is Ready to Enhance Your Home

The Samsung Frame Pro is now available direct from the company website or through specially-selected online and brick-and-mortar retailers. With so many new and exciting features combined with the highest quality picture and sound quality that are the hallmarks of the Samsung brand, the Frame Pro TV is positioned to become the next game-changer in the high-end electronics space.
